… a "Singspiel" is a German opera which uses spoken dialogue (such as this season's The Abduction from the Seraglio, though in our production the spoken parts will be performed in English).

  • Students can peek behind the curtain to learn how an opera is put onstage, as well as watch the history of opera unfold
